Bible Verse of the Day 3/24/25 "Leaning into..."
Bible Verse of the Day
10 Moses said to the Lord, “Pardon your servant, Lord. I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since you have spoken to your servant. I am slow of speech and tongue.”
11 The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? 12 Now go; I will help you speak and will teach you what to say.”
Exodus 4:10-12
When I read this passage, I am reminded that we are the only ones that doubt our calling/purpose in our lives. As you can clearly see in Moses story God doesn’t doubt Moses’ ability, the Father created Moses with a passion for his people (which it was his misguided passion that made him leave Egypt to begin with) and heart for their freedom.
The enemy (satan) doesn’t doubt Moses power for he has watched him Moses entire life and knows that if He let’s God lead the possibilities are endless.
You see more than likely the enemy is the voice that has been whispering to Moses his whole life telling him he can not speak eloquently and that he does not have what it takes to pursue this passion; and truthfully absent of God Moses doesn’t have enough of what it takes. But we have all heard these statements of truth below…
God does call the equipped, He equips the called.
With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible. Matthew 19:26
So dear friend, lean into the Father, pursue the passion/calling/purpose in your life with Him in His timing.
I don’t know about you but I needed reminded of this today.
In the Father’s Love,
Sam
